1. Continue to attract, recruit, support and retain effective, compassionate and talented staff members, with an emphasis on increasing diversity, advancement, and "growing out own" internal candidates.

2. Continue to monitor and manage district resources in an effort to secure a balanced budget and fund balance reserves in compliance with state financial criteria.

3. Create and communicate a long-term master facility plan to ensure safe, high-quality spaces that meet current and future needs in the district.

  4. Continue to optimize the benefits of the unit district structure, with special emphasis on grade level and school transitions, both vertical and horizontal articulation among the staff; curriculum alignment and positive district identity.
