Waivers & Payment Options
General Information
In order for no student to be denied educational services or academic credit due to the inability of parents or guardians to pay student fees, the district has instituted a Fee Waiver Process. Students receiving a fee waiver are not exempt from charges for lost and damaged books, lost locks, physical education suits and athletic fees. These fees must be paid in full regardless of the date of enrollment.
Fees that are eligible to be waived include:
- Charges for required textbooks, required technology, and required instructional materials.
- Charges for field trips made during school hours, or after school hours if mandatory and/or related to instruction.
- Driver's Education fees pursuant to Section 27-24.2 of the School Code (10ILCS 5/27-24.2).

The Registration Fee, yearly Tech Fee ($50), and Driver's Education Fee are the only fees eligible for the Fee Waiver process. A reduced fee waiver process, based on income eligibility, according to the Department of Agriculture, that reduces the cost of the aforementioned fees by 50% is also available.
No Registration Fee is charged to students in the Preschool or Early Childhood programs. If the student registration is not submitted by June 15, 2024 the full registration fee will be assessed. The $25 Early Bird Registration Discount is not available after June 15, 2024.
