Student Fees General Information

Round Lake Area Schools CUSD 116 provides a comprehensive schedule of student fees (see above) as a reference for families. Student fees are charged for the use of textbooks, consumable materials, extracurricular activities, and other school related items for all students (K-12). There is no Registration Fee or student fees charged to students in the Preschool or Early Childhood Programs.  

All fees are due at the time of registration.

Student Fees and Fines for Loss, Damage, or Theft

Students must pay for any loss of or damage to school-owned property and materials. Please refer to the Schedule of Student Fees (above) for additional information.  

Payment

Payments for student fees can be made through INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT PORTAL. 

Payment Due Dates and Deadlines

Student fees are due at the time of registration and can be paid indicate options/preferred here. 

IMPORTANT: Registration Fee Information

Early Bird Registration Window 

  • Register by June 15th and receive the discounted Registration Fee rate. 

Regular Registration Window 

  • Register after June 15th and pay the regular Registration Fee rate.

Full Registration Fee Amount

  • Will be charged for students who enroll anytime during the first semester - prior to December 1st.

Registration Fees - Partial Amount

  • If a student enrolls in the District anytime during the first semester prior to December 1, they will be required to pay the full registration fee and all related fees. If a student enrolls in the District after December 1, they will be required to pay half of the registration fee. This includes the parking fee for high school students.

Students must pay for any loss of or damage to school-owned property and materials. 

Payment Plan for Student Fees

Payment plans can be arranged. A late fee will be charged for returning students, if their registration paperwork is not submitted during the established early and regular registration periods each school year. Should this have it's own section under Late Fees?

Overdue or Unpaid Student Fees

The administration will make every attempt to collect past due fees. After several attempts made by the building/district are not successful, a collection agency will be secured to collect past due fees.

Refund of Student Fees

If a student withdraws from the District prior to October 1, they will receive a full refund of the registration fee only (minus $20 administration fee). If a student withdraws from the District after October 1 but prior to the beginning of the second semester, they will receive one half of the registration fee only (minus $20 administration fee). No refund will be provided after the first semester.

Athletic fees will not be refunded after the first game/contest has taken place. Parking fees will not be refunded regardless of the date of withdrawal from the District.
