Volunteer and Chaperone Handbook
Volunteer Information Form
The Board of Education, as stated in Board Policy 6:250 encourages the use of resource persons and volunteers to:
- Enhance students’ educational attainment
- Provide enrichment experiences for students
- Increase the effective utilization of staff time and skills
- Give more individual attention to students
- Promote greater community involvement
The Board and District promote the use of school volunteers while working to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and students, to the extent applicable.
All volunteers shall abide by District policies and procedures, including, but not limited to application process, sign-in and identification procedures, student confidentiality, safety, reporting and harassment policies.
The Round Lake School District 116 Volunteer and Chaperone Handbook outlines the District's volunteer policy, includes a copy of the Volunteer Information form and highligts standard volunteer procedures and expectations.
