EEC and Birth to 5 Facility Ribbon Cutting

We are overjoyed to officially open this space for our littlest learners.
Yesterday evening, a ribbon cutting was held for the expanded and renovated Early Education Center and Birth to Five facility!
Our new and improved building features bright and colorful learning spaces which include: a play house, first-ever library, classrooms, testing areas, offices, and a new storage area that holds toys, clothing, and supplies available for loan/distribution for those in need.
This project would not be possible without the grant received from the Illinois State Board of Education. The grant collected around 240 applications, 8 of which received funding. We are incredibly grateful to have received the largest award of 6.4 million dollars.
Thank you to STR Partners, Allied Facility Partners, Schreiber Philanthropy, our RLAS Board of Education, administrators, staff, and the community kindergarten readiness committee for supporting our vision.
