About Me

Welcome to 3rd Grade!  We have an exciting year ahead of us and I am so happy your child is in my class. 

Having grown up in Round Lake, teaching in District 116 has always been very special to me.  Over the years, I have taught 3rd - 6th grades at Village, Murphy and Round Lake Middle School. After a five-year adventure living in Massachusetts for my husband's job, we recently moved back to the area to be closer to family.  As I enter my 20th year of teaching, I am thrilled to be at Indian Hill Elementary. 

My husband, Gordon, and I live in nearby Antioch with our three children. Nellie is a sophomore at Antioch HS and our twins, Connor & Liam, are in 8th grade. All three kids are very involved in sports, so you will often find me on the sidelines watching our kids play football, field hockey, basketball, lacrosse & soccer. I also enjoy traveling, reading and playing with our two Goldendoodles, Winnie & Duncan. 

I look forward to partnering with you and can't wait to see your child learn & grow this year.
