Hi! My name is Mrs. Beuckman and I am excited to be teaching reading intervention at Magee Middle School this year! This is my 13th year teaching, and my 3rd year in Round Lake. My favorite part of teaching is seeing how much my students grow and the smiles on their faces when something finally clicks. I also love getting to share my favorite stories with them!

I received my undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in Elementary Education. Then I enrolled a few years later at Benedictine University to receive my Master's degree and become a reading specialist.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside in the sun. I have a husband and 2 kids. My son Jace is 7 years old and daughter Brielle is 4 years old, so they keep me busy for sure.  I love teaching kids to read and I can't wait to work with your child soon!
