Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year!
The last year and a half has created a great amount of challenges for everyone. We are so excited to have the opportunity to return to a safe and engaging in-person learning for all students. I look forward to continuing to build upon the great partnerships that have been created between our schools, homes, and community.
For the past 20+ years, I have had the sincere pleasure of serving students, staff and community as an educational leader in a variety of capacities at the elementary, middle, high school and central office levels. I began with RLAS-116 in 2013 as Principal of Round Lake High School and have served as Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education and Deputy Superintendent since that time. I am honored to be entering my fourth year of serving the RLAS-116 community as Superintendent.
Based upon my experiences in RLAS-116, it is apparent that district and building stakeholders have facilitated a nurturing atmosphere for students in a results-oriented manner. Value-driven and collaborative leadership, integrity, prudent financial planning, a strong PK-12 curriculum background, a commitment to community involvement, and visibility are essential leadership qualities that I value. Witnessing the growth that has occurred over the last several years has been very exciting. I look forward to continuing on a path of positive trajectory alongside our oustanding staff, students, families and community members.
I am so appreciative for the opportunity to serve as a leader of RLAS-116. There is no place I would rather be!
