Hello!  My name is Erica Bender and this is my 18th year teaching and my first year teaching for Round Lake Area Schools District #116.  I started my teaching career as a paraprofessional and was fortunate enough to become employed in the district that I worked in for over 20 years.  I just love working with children and seeing them blossom in their learning! I’m very excited to be working here at Pleviak with your Kindergarten children and the amazing Staff! 

I have been married to my husband (Joe) for 8 years and we have two amazing daughters!!!!  Our oldest Grace is almost 4 years old and our youngest Sofia is 16 months. These two girls keep us on our toes, give us a ton of love and we wouldn’t want our life to be any other way!
