Welcome to the New School Year!

I am very happy to be at Murphy Elementary and Beach Elementary as a District Resource Teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 2011 with my Bachelors of Elementary Education and Special Education. I graduated in May of 2018 with my Masters of Special Education from Concorida University. This is my seventh year teaching, fifth year in Round Lake 116. I taught two years in the Plainfield School District in Plainfield, Illinois and then decided to move to Round Lake. I worked at Ellis Elementary School in the Educational Life Skills program for 6 years. 

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and our dog. On the weekends, during camping season, we spend it at our camper! I keep myself very busy with all the activities that I enjoy doing!

I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be working with your child this year!
