Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Liz Vega de Kuchnia
I began my teaching career in Mexico after gaining a degree for grades 6-9. I took English lessons because I wanted to teach in bilingual schools. After teaching for 3 year in Mexico and learning some English, I came USA to try to master the language. I worked in several schools as a teacher assistant for regular and especial education classrooms, as well as assisting for SLP. At the same time, I took numerous college classes through ISU. After a couple of years, I got my second teaching degree-type 3 teaching certificate. Right after that, I got one bilingual Spanish-English endorsement, and two Teacher of English as a Second language endorsements.
In USA, I have taught grades K-9 Bilingual. Currently, I am happily teaching Kindergarten at Pleviak School.
I am married to my good husband Ron. We have two handsomme adult boys, two cute kittens, and a loving dog.
