Dr. Erica R. Sufritz

Hello and Welcome!  This is my twelfth year working as a teacher in District 116.  For eight years, I worked as a kindergarten classroom teacher working with bilingual and general ducation students.  For the last four years I have worked as a resource teacher -- providing literacy support for second language learners.  Currently I work with first, second and third grade general education and bilingual students at Ellis Elementary School.  

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  Following the completion of my BA., I began my graduate studies in the College of Education at Loyola University (Chicago) and received my doctoral degree with a  major in Counseling and Educational Psychology and minors in Foundations of Education and Research.
