I am a 2007 graduate of Northeastern Illinois University where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in mathematics along with my teaching certification. I began teaching full time in 2008 and have been teaching high school mathematics ever since. I have taught Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Integrated Math 1, 2, & 3. I have tutored students to success on the ACT and SAT for the entirety of my career and have been active in creating mathematics course curriculum. I earned my Master's of Education in Curriculum & Instruction as well as a Teacher Leader endorsement from Olivet Nazarene in June of 2018. In addition to my academic endeavors, I was a cross country coach and a music club sponsor.

Outside of the classroom, I have two amazing daughters and a great husband that I spend most of my time with. I love traveling and hiking and am an avid runner. I enjoy attending baseball games, especially Chicago Cubs games, playing the flute and piano, and cooking.
