Dr. Chad Solomon

Dr. Solomon has been an educator since the 1990's and a licensed teacher since 1999.  He became part of Round Lake High school in 2016 and has taught Physics, Criminalistics, AP Environmental Science, and Human Sustainability in that time.  Prior to coming to Round Lake Area School District 116, Dr. Solomon was a teacher in Chicago Public Schools for 15 years and a school administrator.  He has a Bachelors in Earth and Environmental Science from Northeastern Illinois University, a Master in Science Teaching from National-Louis University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.  He most enjoys teaching hands-on learning with lots of labs.

When Dr. Solomon is not teaching, he enjoys doing scout stuff with his childern, Asher and Cooper.  In the summers, Dr. Solomon teaches motorcycle safety classes for the Illinois Department of Transportation and Chicago Harley-Davidson Riding Academy.
