Hello! My name is Heather Raap and I teach 3rd Grade at Murphy Elementary. This is my tenth year teaching in the district. At Murphy, I have taught 2nd grade and 5th grade for one year. This is my eighth year teaching 3rd grade and I'm super excited! It's the best grade EVER!

I graduated from Illinois State University in 2013. I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. In 2016, I completed my Masters in Education with English as a Second Language through Dominican University.

I was born in California. I have lived in many different places because my dad was in the Marines. I've lived in California, Hawaii, North Carolina, and Illinois. Moving around a lot meant that I went to many different schools. When I am not teaching, I enjoy watching movies, reading books, and spending time with friends and family.
