Welcome! My name is Anne Papandrea and I am so pleased to be part of the Round Lake Staff as a Special Education Resource teacher at Village Elementary. I obtained my Elementary Education degree from the University of Minnesota with a minor in Child Psychology. I began my teaching career as a kindergarten and first grade teacher. Later I earned endorsements in Special Education and ENL Education. I worked in a special education district transition program for several years before coming to Round Lake. I earned a Master's in Reading and Literacy from Benedictine University a few years ago. A lifelong learner, I continue to take classes that I feel will increase my performance as a teacher and will add to the work I do with my students. Teaching is my true joy.
I am the proud mom of two grown boys and love my time with them during visits. I am a Minnesota native so I travel up there as often as I can for family and friend visits. My students know I am a huge Disney fan and love talking about movies with them. I enjoy reading, taking walks and my church family.
