Welcome to LA Prep Class at John T. MaGee Middle School! My name is Mr. McDonald, I teach 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Language Arts Prep classes. Teaching kids to become better readers has always been a passion of mine and the opportunity I have at this amazing school is a dream come true for me. I grew up in Vernon Hills and now live very close in Mundelein. A few fun facts about me are--I LOVE Star Wars, reading Science Fiction, and collecting comic books from the 1950s. This is my 5th year teaching. I have bachelors degrees in English and psychology and a Masters in Secondary Education.
