Hi there!  I have been teaching in the district since 2012. I am currently a first grade teacher at WJ Murphy Elementary but have also taught second grade. I attended school at Eastern Illinois University and have both my middle level and ESL endoresments. I am a Lake County native and reside in Libertyville with my husband, two sons and dog named Daisy.  I love spending time outdoors exploring new places with my family.  I love finding ways to incorporate current trends into our curriculum - and you can always hear music playing when you enter my classroom.  The rapid growth that occurs in the lower grades fascinates me and I am so proud to be a member of the RLAS community!
