Hey there! I have been teaching at RLAS116 since 2014. I am currently facilitating PLTW at Ellis Elementary.

Our class focuses on project-based learning opportunities, cooperative group work, block-based coding (Scratch Jr. and Scratch Mit Edu), Robotics (Vex Iq, Vex Go, Sphero, Dash, and many others), science experiments, and STEM challenges. 

I also co-facilitate our afterschool 4-H Robotics Club. 

I live in Round Lake and enjoy spending my free time with my family, reading, and painting at home. I have two very mischievous cats, Starlord and Sprinkle. I am obsessed with coffee and finding the perfect organizational system for my classroom.

I think that school should be a safe place for students, and the relationship with their teacher is one of the most important.

I hope to grow young minds!
