Kristin Lilla is the English Department Chair and a Girls' Track & Field coach (twitter/instagram @rlhstf).  She has spent 16 years in the district.  Her passion is teaching students who say they do not like writing.  She makes it her personal mission to build their confidence in writing and have a new perspective about their abilities.  She brings humor, compassion, and high expectations into the classroom every day.

When she's not all consumed with teaching and coaching at RLHS, Mrs. Lilla enjoys time with her family (husband & 7yo son) and pets (dog, cat, & ducks).  She is all about Team USA during every Olympics (you cannot pry her away from the T.V.) as well as a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears.  

Her philosophy this year:  "The only things I can control are my attitude and effort.  The rest is just weeds.  I know what to do with weeds!"
