Welcome! My name is Katie Horn.   I am 5th grade teacher at Beach Elementary School where I will teach Math and Science this year.   I have been teaching in Round Lake for 25 years and love every day!  It is a pleasure to work with the students and help them grow! I graduated from Northern Illinois University with my bachelors.   I also have 2 masters degrees from National Louis University. 

I am happily married for 26 years and have 2 children. My husband also works for Round Lake School District. My daughter, Stefany, is a teacher in Lake Villa school district and my son, Jake, graduated from Illinois State University and is working as a Safety Engineer.  I love to spend my time with family, reading or with my dog, Cooper.
