I began teaching in 2005.  I started as a substitute teacher, which gave me the rare privelege of teaching all grades, K-8.  I found that I LOVE teaching 4th grade!  I was so excited in 2105 when Village invited me to do what I love.  I can't imagine teaching anywhere else.  

I have lived in Lake Villa for 27 years.  My husband and I have 3 children, a daughter-in-law and 1 grandchild.  We always have many, many animals, including dogs, cats, lizard, frogs and guinea pigs.  They are all rescues since my family and I are very invested in rescuing animals that need a loving home.
