Hi, welcome to my webpage!  My name is Karen Devich and I teach 4th grade at Murphy.  This is my 14th year teaching--all of those years here at Murphy Elementary.  I have my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I am one of the managers for our Elementary Scholars team, and I teach the advanced math group in 4th grade.  I enjoy teaching all subject areas, but I love to teach science and anything that involves students questioning and investigating and using hands-on activities.

I have a husband, 3 kids (2 girls and 1 boy), and a black lab.  We like being outside, going to parks, watching movies, and doing art activities at home (when we aren't driving around to different activities for the kids!).

In my spare time, when I'm not with my family, I enjoy running, watching movies, and reading.
