Hello and welcome to John T. Magee Middle School! My name is Devin Carlson and I couldn't be more excited to be in my 5th year of teaching here at Magee. Currently, I teach 7th grade special education in co-taught Language Arts and small group instruction classes. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education and Dual Certification in Secondary Education from Eastern Illinois University. Earlier this year, I earned my Masters in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University.

Some fun facts about me:

-I have a passion for the arts! (Painting, singing, and dancing) - in fact, I almost went to school to be a music teacher!

-I have a husky named Coco who keeps me very busy :)

-I love to cook

 -Pilates is one of my new favorite things to do!
