  • MEAL DISTRIBUTION RESOURCES

Since the initial closures in March, RLAS-116 has been serving Grab-n-Go meals (breakfast and lunch) to students using a drive-through model. On Monday, August 17, this program will be enhanced.

Starting Monday, August 17, and for every school day during remote learning, Grab-n-Go meals will be served. Families may pick up meals for registered students 8am-12pm at Beach, Ellis, Indian Hill, Murphy, Village, Round Lake Middle School, John T. Magee Middle School, and Round Lake High School. Families may pick up all children's meals at one location. You do not need to go to your specific school. When arriving for pick up, families will be asked to provide their child’s name and school of attendance.

Additionally, 12 school buses will be placed within our community each day 8am-12pm to serve as mobile meal distribution sites. We are hopeful that this will assist families who struggle with a lack of transportation. Mobile meal distribution sites include:

    • Countryside Ln, Round Lake Beach
    • Nicole Ln & Karen Ln, Round Lake Beach
    • Quaker Hollow Ln & Silver Oaks Dr, Round Lake Beach
    • Cedar Villas Apartments, Round Lake Beach
    • Meadow Green Ln, Round Lake Beach
    • Whitewood Park & Hickory Ln, Round Lake
    • Beverly Dr & Golfview Ct, Round Lake Beach
    • Long Lake Dr & Nasa Cir, Round Lake
    • Round Lake Park Village Hall, Round Lake Park
    • Rosewood Apartments, Round Lake
    • Timber Creek Dr, Round Lake Park
    • Wildspring Rd & Weeping Willow Rd, Round Lake

Preschool children will be provided with a bundled pack of non-perishable snacks. Snacks may be picked up at Village Elementary School, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

  • Welcome to Food Service!

Round Lake School District 116 partners with Organic Life to provide breakfast and lunch meal service. We are excited to be entering our second year working with Organic Life to offer a variety of healthy and delicious options to our students and staff.

The District participates in the Illinois State Board of Education's Community Eligibility Provision meal program. The CEP program provides a healthy breakfast and lunch each school day at no charge for all students enrolled during the school year. The lunch meal will include meat/meat alternate, grain, fruit, veggie, and milk. This program does not include second meals and a la carte items, however, these are available for an additional cost.

Monthly menus and a la carte middle and high school price lists can be viewed and printed via the link you find on this page!
