The Blaize
Round Lake High School is excited to bring back its school newspaper, The Blaize, which is produced by the high school’s journalism class. As an English elective, all students are eligible to take journalism, where they learn the skills of journalism through the context of actual newspaper production. Students work together to create story concepts, research ideas, conduct interviews, edit drafts, and take photos as they put together the online publication.
The Blaize’s staff looks forward to incorporating two new print publications next year as they further develop their reporting and production skills. In the meantime, please be sure to check back monthly as The Blaize’s online newspaper is updated with new stories, videos, and images!
