The Technology Department is responsible for the implementation and integration of technology solutions across all district buildings and programs, and the collection, analysis and oversight of student data and information.  We are committed to upholding high standards, developing and following policies and procedures and protecting our students, staff and information while striving to deliver new and innovative solutions. Striking a balance between innovation and safety guides us in everything we do.  The department is home to a group of people who are experts at what they do and passionate about supporting all stakeholders in the education of the students of the Round Lake Area Community.

Electronic networks, including the Internet, are a part of the District’s instructional program and serve to promote educational excellence by facilitating resource sharing, innovation, and communication.  The Technology Department recognizes the importance of technology in the classroom when it comes to engaging our students in their own learning. Our team supports our teachers and school leaders in the use of technology in a way that further enriches each child's learning experience.  In an effort to ensure the safety of all those that access the District’s technology resources, please find the latest acceptable use policy and other helpful resources and guidelines in the Resources section.
