What to Know

• Round Lake Area Schools CUSD 116 pays on a 24 pay period basis each school year.
• Payments are processed to employees on the 15th and the 31st of each month, except when those dates fall on a holiday or weekend, in which case the date is changed to the prior workday.

Round Lake Area Schools accepts employment verification requests via fax or email. In the request, include the employee's authorization to release the information.

The payroll department's turnaround time is one to two working days.

Skyward is an employee information system that is used at Round Lake Area Schools for Human Resources and Payroll. This system will house all the employee information, from personal, to current position and assignment and payroll information.

What to Know

• After being hired for any position in our district, you should receive an email that contains your login information and temporary password for access to Skyward.
• Skyward gives the option to view your paycheck history, W-4 information, W-2 information, time off, and more.
• Self-Service options are available for employees to change their address and phone number from within Skyward.

W-2s are processed annually by January 31st each calendar year. Current and past employees may view their W-2 in Skyward Employee Access.

What to Know

• The District practices electronic distribution of W-2s. Employees may request a paper copy to be mailed by contacting the Payroll Specialist.
• Prior and current year W-2s are available year round in Skyward Employee Access, for printing and review.
• Address changes must be submitted to the Human Resources Department or Payroll, by December 31st each year, to ensure timely receipt of W-2.
• Self-service options are available in Skyward for address changes.
• Any employee no longer working for the District, can obtain access to Skyward to view W-2s. Contact the Payroll Specialist for assistance with gaining access.

In 2019, the Illinois General Assembly passed Public Act 101-0504. The law requires IMRF to post certain employer cost and participation information on its website. IMRF will update these reports annually.
