Special Education Parent Advisory Committee

A blue and yellow abstract apple logo with a green leaf sits above the black text %22SEPAC ROUND LAKE AREA SCHOOLS%22 on a white background.

District 116 is currently partnering with parents/guardians on developing a  Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) which brings together families and District staff to strengthen communication, collaboration, and partnership in support of students with disabilities.

SEPAC provides opportunities for families to connect with one another, learn about special education programs and resources, share perspectives, and provide input on topics related to special education services and supports throughout the District. Through ongoing collaboration, SEPAC works to promote positive educational experiences and outcomes for students with disabilities.

Families of students receiving special education services are encouraged to participate. Whether you are interested in attending meetings, sharing ideas, connecting with other families, or becoming more involved in a leadership role, we welcome your participation.

Interested in getting involved?

For more information about SEPAC participation or leadership opportunities, please contact Sharon Jacobellis, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, at sjacobellis@rlas-116.org.
