Communication Tools
Dojo
Dojo is the district's communication tool at the elementary level. Our teachers at our elementary schools and Early Education Center use Dojo to post events, activities and students on their Class Story, for only their class to see, or School Story, for the whole school to see.
Teachers also use Dojo to award points and give feedback to students, and to message parents. Teachers add parents and students to their classes at the beginning of each year.
If you would have an elementary student and would like to join their Dojo class, please reach out to your student's teacher.
Remind
We’ve partnered with Remind starting in the 2024-25 school year to help improve communications at the middle and high school level. Remind is a communication tool that allows teachers to create a class and communicate directly with parents and students either through an app, text or email.
We have created an account for you that is connected to the information we have on file in Infinite Campus. You should have received an email in August instructing you on how to access your account.
Teachers will be using this tool to inform parents and students about assignments, trips or important reminders. Only teachers will be allowed to create classes and messages will be monitored. If you do not see a class under your class list, please contact your teacher for their class code. Make sure to log in using the email you registered your student with.
Through Remind, you will be able to directly message your student’s teacher. They will also be able to message you. Students will not be able to message each other.
We recommend that parents download the Remind app for your phone for the easiest access to your messages. You can still receive messages on your phone or desktop without the app. Please see the below resources for how to change your notification settings and contact information.
