Round Lake Area Schools joins a small sampling of Districts across the State of Illinois that have achieved the distinguished Meritorious Budget Award, provided by the Association of School Business Officials International. The MBA recognizes school districts in the United States and Canada for excellence in school budget presentation, setting a high standard for transparent budget development.

Certificate of Financial Excellence Award

The Association of School Business Officials International awards RLAS-116 with the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting; recognizing school districts for excellence and best practices in financial reporting. This is the 5th consecutive year for this award!

Earning the nationally recognized Certificate of Excellence: 1) shows your community that your district is credible and committed to fiscal integrity; 2) helps the district achieve a better bond rating from credit evaluations by clearly disclosing all requited information; and 3) demonstrates the district's transparency as it shares financial information above and beyond what GAAP requires.
