Special Education
Vision Statement
To provide high quality specialized instruction in order to advance independence and promote learning in the least restrictive environment for students identified with special needs.
Special Education & 504 Services
RLAS-116 provides a full continuum of services in the areas of Special Education and Section 504. These services are provided to students who meet specific eligibility requirements outlined by Federal and State Rules and Regulations. The goal of special education and related services is to support each eligible child and address identified needs. An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is developed in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and special education staff on an annual basis.
