The 2024 four-year graduation rate was 88%, in line with the state average.
Finances
Round Lake Area Schools has earned the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award from the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International for the fiscal year ended 2024! Our District has been recognized for this award annually for more than a decade.
Pre-K & K
In 2024, the Early Education Center and Birth-to-5 program spaces were completely renovated. RLAS-116 offers an in-District award-winning preschool program for about 200 students.
A full-day Kindergarten program includes PE, art, music, and library.
Renovations
In 2016, RLHS opened as a newly renovated school that offers 27 new learn lab classrooms, Project Lead the Way, next-generation science labs, a new gymnasium, collaboration spaces, and upgraded technology and security.
Health
In 2014, RLAS-116 opened one of the first School-Based Health Centers in Lake County, in partnership with the Lake County Health Department.
Services are available to all students and staff.
