OUR TEAM
Our team of approximately 1,000 staff members are proud to call Round Lake their home and bring their very best to providing an outstanding educational experience to all students.
ENROLLMENT
We currently have 6,800 students in grades PK-12.
Our students have a great advantage in that the District is diverse; offering them experiences not found in other places!
CURRICULUM
Our mission is to Inspire and Empower Students to Construct a Thriving Future. We do this by creating standards-based curricula with common assessments and using correctives and enrichments to push students further in their achievement. We create a culture of collaboration by establishing a specific time and set of expectations for teachers to work together to discuss student learning where everyone brings something to the team. Our focus is on results! We create a system for data analysis which encourages teachers to work together to find solutions to increase student achievement for all.
Round Lake Area Schools
Round Lake Area Schools District 116 is comprised of neighborhood schools. Each of the ten buildings serves an important role within its individual community.
