About Me-
My name is David Graf and I am one of the two physical education teachers here at Indian Hill. I have been teaching physical education to elementary-aged students since 2014. Prior to coming to Indian Hill, I taught at Pleviak. Before that, I worked at Kildeer School District 96 in Buffalo Grove, Illinois as an Adapted Physical Education teacher.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical and Health Education from Northern Illinois University.
Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a teacher leadership endorsement from Olivet Nazerene University.
Continuing Education- After completing my Masters, I continued to take classes to improve my teaching.
  • In my free time I like to be with my family.
  • Playing with my dog Mr. Winchester Cuddlesworth.
  • I love to travel.
  • I like to watch T.V and movies- Some of my favorites are Marvel movies and TV shows, true crime shows, Gordon Ramsey cooking shows, and any home renovation shows.
  • I enjoy working out
  • My favorite candy is Reeses.
Why do I teach Physical Education?-
Sports and physical activity have had a strong impact on my life. This passion for a healthy lifestyle is something I want to instill within my students. All students can learn and succeed when given the correct tools. My hope is for my students to discover and understand the importance of teamwork, the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, and to introduce them to a wide range of activities.
I am looking forward to another great year here at Indian Hill
