RLAS-116 BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY
Due to a vacancy on the RLAS-116 Board of Education, the Board is soliciting applications for interested, eligible citizens to fill this position. Eligible requirements are that an applicant be a registered voter and a district resident for at least one year. Those wishing to apply should write a letter of interest to be received by Friday, March 19, 2010 to Dr. Ben Martindale, Chief Executive Officer, Round Lake Area School District #116, 316 S Rosedale Ct, Round Lake, IL 60073. Office hours are 7:45am to 4:15pm Monday through Friday.

Kindergarten Registration will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2010 and Tuesday, April 13, 2010. See attached flyers for more information.

Yearbooks are still on sale.
This year we are happy to announce that Village School will be offering a yearbook. These yearbooks are full color and on sale now.
A Regular Yearbook is $15.00 and a Personalized Yearbook (includes student's name and portrait on the cover) is $18.00. Checks should be made out to Round Lake Area Schools. Exact amount only please, change will not be given.
The 2010 Village Yearbook will be distributed in May.

Student Drop Off info for the 2009-2010 school year.
If you plan to drive your child to school please enter the parking lot area, pull up as far as you can in the drop off area, drop off your child, follow the painted arrows to the exit. A staff member will be in that general area to help direct traffic. DO NOT ENTER THE BUS DROP-OFF AREA IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING.
For grades 1-5 we have supervision from 8 am - 8:20 am. Please do not drop your child off earlier as there is no supervision.
Kindergarten students should not be dropped off before 8:55 am. There is no outside supervision for them.
