The math team is made up of approximately six to ten students from each class who compete in various math competitions during the year including the Illinois State Regional at Northern Illinois University. Qualifiers then get to compete in the Illinois State Finals. The best students from the Honors level math classes are asked to compete each year.

Round Lake has successfully sent state qualifiers every year for the last ten years!

We meet once or twice a week to practice math competition problems.
