ATTENTION SENIORS, JUNIORS, SOPHOMORES AND FRESHMAN:  There is a mandatory meeting for anyone participating in student council.  The meeting will be  Wednesday, March 10^th at 7:15am in Room C128.  The topics that will be discussed include school wide elections, the dodgeball tournament and Mr. Panther.   Even if you have never participated in student council, but would like to participate, please come to the meeting Wednesday Morning in the library.

ROUND LAKE AREA SCHOOLS YOUNG ARTISTS EXHIBITION:
Opening night is Thursday March 11, 6-8 pm at the Cultural &Civic Center. The show will also be open on Friday March 12, 6:30-8:30 pm, Saturday March 13, 1:30-3:30 pm, & Sunday March 14, 1:30-3:30 pm.
Come and see what our talented students have been creating!

DONKEY BASKETBALL!: Have you ever seen Donkeys playing basketball? Yes, it's true, real live donkeys on the Basketball court! Come and see what this is all about, Tuesday March 16th at 7pm. Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday during lunch for $6 or $8 at the door. Support the Baseball team's fundraiser. It's sure to be a hee-haw good time!

PROM TICKETS:  will be on sale starting Monday, March 15^th through Friday, April 16^th during all lunch hours. $150 for a couple and $75 for a single. We are accepting cash only and there will be NO refunds what so ever. The prom wavier and/or guest application must be turned in and approved before tickets can be purchased. RLAS-116 BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY
Due to a vacancy on the RLAS-116 Board of Education, the Board is soliciting applications for interested, eligible citizens to fill this position.  Eligible requirements are that an applicant be a registered voter and a district resident for at least one year.  Those wishing to apply should write a letter of interest to be received by Friday, March 19, 2010 to Dr. Ben Martindale, Chief Executive Officer, Round Lake Area School District #116, 316 S Rosedale Ct, Round Lake, IL 60073.  Office hours are 7:45am to 4:15pm Monday through Friday.
