Decision Day is a national event where student’s declare which 2 yr. college, 4 yr. university, or military branch they have enrolled in; this event is to celebrate these student’s dedication and make them aware that their school honors their post secondary efforts.

“We are getting close to the end of the year and Seniors it is crunch time. By now you should have ALREADY applied to your colleges of choice and are completing financial aid applications, most importantly the FAFSA, and scholarships. If this is not the case, you need to see your counselor or myself so that we can help you get on track! Remember that there is a college for every student, no one is an exception. I am still working primarily with seniors, but am organizing different events and workshops for juniors. If you are a parent that has an questions pertaining to your students college application process, please stop by, email me, or give me a call. Seniors let’s make this year unforgettable by having high expectations!”

1.       If students are interest in requesting their high school transcripts and they have ALREADY GRADUATED from RLHS, they must contact our registrar Maureen Crowe: mcrowe@rlas-116.org    OR 847.270.9300 ext 5169

2.        If students are interest in requesting their high school transcripts and they have NOT GRADUATED from RLHS, they must sign the transcript request form at guidance or with Mrs. Segundo (pink sheet). If they are under 18, you must get the form signed by a parent/guardian

Financial Aid Information:

      I am open to making appointments with parents who are interested in completing the FAFSA any date this semester.

Required Documents: Student’s social security number, Student’s 2008 or 2009 W-2s and tax forms (if worked), Parent’s social security number (if available) please mention that as long as the STUDENT has a SS# they can fill out the form,  Parent’s 2008 or 2009 W-2s and tax forms, please mention that out of preference to have 2009 tax info at hand.
