Welcome to a new year
I am excited about returning to seventh grade. I have worked at the district for 18years beginning at Round Lake High School teaching Special Education Freshman, Math and Science. I have been at the middle school the remainder of my career. I have taught special education math and science at both Magee and the Middle School. I have taught general education math, science, and social studieso grades 6 and 7. Prior to coming to Round Lake, I worked at a private school for five years teaching math and science.
My educational achievements include a bachelor’s degree in special education and general education with endorsements in science, math and language arts. I graduated cum laude from Northeastern Illinois University. I earned my master’s degree from National Louis University in curriculum and instruction. I also have an additional thirty hours in English Language Learning
I have lived in New York, Connecticut, South Carolina, and Illinois. I have three grown children and four beautiful grandchildren. I have travelled in Europe and throughout the United States. This summer’s excitement brought a wedding in New Jersey, birthday celebrations in Las Vegas, water sports in the North Woods, and golf.
I am truly looking forward to a new school year and hope to form good working relationships with all my students and their parents
