Kindergarten Registration to Open at District 116
(Round Lake, IL)

Children who live within the boundaries of Round Lake Area School District 116 and will turn five before September 1, 2008, can register by appointment only for Kindergarten beginning on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Education Service Center (810 Sunset Drive, Round Lake).

District 116 serves portions of Hainesville, Round Lake, Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Heights, and Round Lake Park.


Please call the district registrar at (847) 270-9050 to make an appointment to register your child on Tuesday or Thursday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.


All students must fill out a home language survey when they register.


In addition, the Early Education Center will hold Kindergarten Parent Tours by appointment only on Friday, March 14, Friday, April 25 or Friday, May 9, 2008. All tours begin at 10:00 a.m. Please call the school secretary at (847) 270-9492 to schedule your appointment.
