The mentor program is comprised of a group of 8th grade students that serve as leaders in our building.  They plan and run 7th grade orientation as well as host dances, participate in fundraisers, open house and a variety of community events.  Most importantly, our mentors, on a day to day basis provide support to 6th and 7th grade students.  That support consists of helping new students find their classes, helping students manage their time, study for tests and encouraging positive behaviors.  Upcoming mentor event include The Character Counts Carnival October 24th and the all School Halloween Dance October 31st from 5-7pm.  The adult sponsors are Patrick McGuire, Laura Cruz and Erin Clark.
