Books with Breakfast

Beginning the week after our Thanksgiving Break, a new initiative will begin in the library. Each grade level has been assigned a different day of the week where students will be able to bring their cold breakfast into the library to enjoy books with their breakfast. They will be able to choose new books, read on their own or with a buddy, listen to stories on the computer or listen to read-alouds, or work with me to form a book club. The purpose of this program is to foster a love of reading and to provide students with more opportunities to just read.
